To start with, CBD has had many recent studies showing it has some amazing benefits. From mental health to physical health, even to counteracting and balancing out the psychoactive effects of THC. Needless to say, cannabidiol is a very beneficial cannabinoid found in hemp (cannabis). But, what exactly are all of these benefits and things CBD helps with? And are there any risks or side effects from it?
Some of the benefits of cannabidiol also known as CBD (as stated above) have shown to help mental and physical health. In some studies CBD had pharmaceutical effects similar to that of atypical antipsychotic drugs and many pain medications out there but, without all the crazy side effects that come with the pharmaceutical drugs. That is not to say that CBD has no side effects, as it has a couple, but more to say that the side effects of cannabidiol are not harmful to you and a much smaller list than pharmaceutical drugs on top of that. You know what I’m talking about. We all know those pharmaceutical drug commercials that’s list of what they actually help nowhere near compares in length to the list of potential side effects. You know, the ones where the list never seems to end on those potential side effects but the list of what they help is mite sized compared? Plus, on top of that, a ton of those side effects were adding more issues (i.e. anti-psychotic pharmaceutical drugs have a side effect of anxiety, health issues and more) all of which you need to take more and different pharmaceutical drugs to fix. All of that instead of just taking care of the issue it’s designed to fix without creating newer issues that you must take yet another drug for. Who wants to deal with that? Whereas cannabidiol (CBD) has only really shown a couple potential side effects in studies done. I.e. tiredness, diarrhea, and/or changes in appetite and/or weight. That’s a ton better than pharmaceutical drugs and if you even show any side effects, which most people don’t.
So what benefits does CBD really have and what does it help? Well check out this list below:
